Creative Operations Manager (Performance Marketing) I Remote | Full-Time
About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Operations Manager to lead and scale our creative production engine for paid advertising.
This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, execution, and performance. You will manage a team of Creative Strategists and AI-driven creative producers, ensuring we consistently deliver high-converting ad creatives at scale.
Our clients are small and medium-sized home service businesses (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) operating with tight budgets, so your mission is clear:
Deliver creative output that drives leads, lowers CPL, and maximizes performance across hundreds of campaigns
This is a hands-on leadership role—you won’t just manage people, you’ll own the systems, processes, and performance outcomes behind our creative production.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Operations & Production
- Oversee the end-to-end creative pipeline:
- Ideation → Production → Testing → Iteration
- Ensure consistent output of high-quality ad creatives (video, image, copy)
- Manage creative volume and velocity across multiple accounts
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of Creative Strategists and AI Creative Producers
- Set clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development
Performance Ownership
- Define and track key creative KPIs: CPL (Cost per Lead), CTR, Conversion Rate
- Work closely with the PPC team to: align creative with campaign performance, Identify winning patterns and scale them
- Continuously improve creative testing frameworks
Process & Systems Optimization
- Build and optimize workflows for: Creative requests, production timelines, testing cycles
- Leverage AI and automation tools to increase efficiency and output
- Ensure the team can produce and iterate creatives at scale
Creative Quality & Strategy Oversight
- Ensure all creatives follow direct-response best practices
- Guide the team in developing: Strong hooks (first 3 seconds), Clear problem-solution messaging, high-converting storytelling for home services
- Maintain consistency while adapting creatives across different clients and markets
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in: Creative strategy, performance marketing or creative operations
- Proven experience managing creative or marketing teams
- Strong understanding of: Paid social (Meta, TikTok), direct-response marketing, lead generation funnels
- Experience working in high-volume, performance-driven environments
- Ability to balance: Creative thinking, operational execution, data-driven decision making
Technical & Functional Skills
- Experience with: Meta Ads / paid social ecosystems, creative testing frameworks (A/B testing, iteration cycles)
- Familiarity with tools like: Project management platforms (Asana, ClickUp, etc.), creative tools (Adobe, Canva, CapCut), AI tools (ChatGPT, creative automation tools)
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data
