The Role
We are looking for an “Attention-grabbing video producer.” We don’t need a cinematographer nor a Cap Cut video editor. You will create AI Video Ads for US SMBs in the home service industry (plumbers, roofers, painters, fence installers, HVAC techs…). Your goal is to make 15–30 second video ads that stop the scroll and drive calls to small business owners.
What You’ll Do
- Create at Speed: Produce short-form video ads (6-8 a day) using AI-driven platforms and traditional editing suites. You’ll be managing a high-volume pipeline where speed and quality go hand-in-hand.
- Master the AI Stack: Utilize advanced prompting techniques across cutting-edge AI video editing tools to generate assets quickly, combining them with industry-standard software to polish the final product.
- Strategize & Execute: Translate campaign goals into visual concepts. You’ll take a brief and turn it into a compelling video ad that converts.
- Optimize for Performance: Review performance data to refine hooks, scripts, and visuals.
- Iterate & Improve: Build multiple variations for A/B testing. When the data says a video is working, you’ll help us figure out why and make the next one even better. You don’t just make things look “cool”—you care about CTR and conversion rates.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: The AI landscape changes weekly. You will be our go-to expert on new tools, ensuring our workflows remain cutting-edge.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience producing short-form video content for paid media channels.
- Technical Toolkit: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and After Effects for rapid motion design and video editing, alongside Photoshop and Illustrator for asset preparation and graphic manipulation.
- AI Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AI video editing tools and a deep understanding of effective text-to-video / image-to-video prompting.
- Fast-Paced Delivery: Ability to work in a high-intensity environment with rapid turnaround times and deliver high volumes of ad variations weekly.
- Platform Knowledge: You know the difference between a YouTube in-stream ad and an Instagram Reel. You understand safe zones, aspect ratios, and native styles.
- Conversion Mindset: You prioritize clarity, urgency, and direct-response psychology over “cinematic” transitions.
- Communication: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for seamless team collaboration.
- Portfolio: A shareable portfolio or examples of AI-generated or AI-assisted video work.
We are looking for: Short-form video expert, obsessed with CTR/Retention, works at lightning speed, masters both AI tools and Adobe Creative Cloud.
We are NOT looking for: “Video Artist” mentality, slow turnaround times, or a focus on aesthetic branding instead of the direct offer.
