The 411 Locals seeks a Collections Agent to assist with the day-to-day servicing needs of our client’s collection accounts. The role consists of calling the delinquent customers of our clients, negotiating resolutions, resolving customer disputes, and managing daily productivity goals.

As a Collections Agent, you will establish inbound and outbound contact with delinquent customers to set payment plans in a legal, ethical and customer-centric manner. The candidate should be timely, responsive, and possess strong negotiation skills. To succeed in this role, the candidate should utilize a customer service approach when engaging in collection activities.

Additional Collector Qualifications and Skills:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of collections, customer service, or sales experience is required.

Scope

  1. Responsible for collecting past due payments, resolve customer issues and ensure that accounts are set to auto-bill
  2. Reselling the value of the campaign
  3. Adhere to all Inbound, Outbound, Voice, and Non-voice process

Responsibilities 

  • Meet daily call expectations of 100+ with accounts worked
  • Call debtors to secure payments on past-due accounts
  • Successfully manage a queue of 200+ assigned accounts
  • Must have the ability to consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations
  • Understands and applies the terms of clients contracts/programs
  • Notate and pursue successful resolution of past due Client accounts
  • Contact customer businesses by phone and email to resolve delinquency issues
  • Professionally communicate and build trust to overcome objections and resolve the delinquency or dispute issues
  • Negotiate debt repayment with consumers. Obtain firm agreements to repay debt in a timely manner
  • Make informed decisions based on consumers’ needs, account balances and business’ standard operating procedures
  • Perform Customer Stability Reviews on prospective customers of our clients to determine probable propensity for delinquency
  • Responsible for payment collections to ensure all past due amounts are collected while preventing the aging of current balances
  • Ensure receivables are collected in a timely and efficient manner by taking proactive measures when necessary
  • Document all collection activity and research efforts into the specified database
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulation associated with all connection activities

Work Conditions 

  • Work hours: 5 days a week in a full-time schedule that may vary from 6AM. to 4PM PST, Monday through Saturday as required based on business needs. 
  • Presence before or after these work hours may be required based on business needs.
