Build the Creative Engine Behind Hundreds of Local Businesses

411 Locals is looking for a Creative Performance Manager to lead our creative team and help scale a high-volume paid media operation serving small businesses across the United States.

Our clients are primarily home service companies including HVAC, roofing, plumbing, landscaping, cleaning, remodeling, and other local service businesses.

This is not a brand marketing role.

This is not a traditional Creative Director role.

We are looking for someone who understands how creative impacts performance and can translate campaign data into better creative decisions.

You will lead a team of Creative Strategists and AI Creative Producers responsible for developing static ads, video ads, hooks, messaging angles, and creative testing initiatives designed to generate leads at an efficient cost.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Creative Team Leadership

You will manage a team of approximately 5 creative professionals, including Creative Strategists and AI Creative Producers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assigning priorities and managing workloads
  • Reviewing deliverables and maintaining quality standards
  • Providing ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Ensuring deadlines are met consistently
  • Creating accountability across a fully remote team
  • Monitoring productivity and identifying execution bottlenecks
  • Helping team members improve both performance and output quality

This role requires active involvement in the day-to-day operation of the team. Success comes from staying close to the work, ensuring priorities are clear, and helping team members execute at a high level.

Creative Performance Analysis

One of the most important parts of this role is understanding why certain ads perform better than others.

You should be comfortable analyzing:

  • Cost Per Lead (CPL)
  • Click-Through Rate (CTR)
  • Cost Per Click (CPC)
  • CPM
  • Conversion Rate
  • Lead Quality
  • Creative Fatigue
  • Audience Response Patterns

You will regularly review campaign results and answer questions such as:

  • Why did one ad generate leads at half the cost of another?
  • Why is a campaign generating clicks but not conversions?
  • Why is CPM increasing?
  • Which messaging angles are consistently outperforming?
  • Which creative concepts deserve additional testing?
  • Which creative themes should be retired?

Your ability to connect performance data with creative decisions will be critical to success.

Creative Strategy & Testing

You will help the team develop and improve:

  • Ad hooks
  • Messaging angles
  • Video concepts
  • Static ad concepts
  • Lead generation offers
  • Creative testing roadmaps

The goal is not simply to create more ads.

The goal is to identify repeatable creative patterns that consistently drive leads for local service businesses.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You will work closely with:

  • Paid Media Specialists
  • Campaign Managers
  • Marketing Operations
  • Leadership Team

You will help ensure that creative production aligns with campaign objectives, testing priorities, and business goals.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • 8+ years in performance marketing, creative strategy, paid social, or direct-response advertising
  • 5+ years managing or leading creative, marketing, or performance teams
  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads performance metrics
  • Experience analyzing ad performance and making optimization recommendations
  • Experience developing creative concepts for lead generation campaigns
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Home services, local business marketing, lead generation, or SMB marketing
  • Direct-response advertising
  • High-volume creative testing environments
  • AI-powered creative workflows and production systems
  • Experience collaborating with media buyers and performance marketing teams
