Director of Sales – Outbound I Advertising Services I USA – Remote
We are hiring a Director of Sales to lead and scale a high-volume outbound sales organization focused on selling digital marketing solutions to SMBs across the United States.
This role is highly operational and performance-driven. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales managers and representatives in a call-center style environment where activity, coaching, and daily accountability drive revenue.
If you have successfully led high-activity outbound sales teams and know how to build a performance culture around calls, conversions, and coaching, this role may be a strong fit.
This is not a strategy-only or enterprise sales role. We are looking for a hands-on sales leader who thrives in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments.
What You Will Do
Lead a High-Volume Outbound Sales Organization
- Manage and coach sales managers and outbound sales representatives
- Drive daily activity metrics (calls, connects, appointments, closes)
- Maintain strong sales floor accountability and performance culture
Improve Sales Performance
- Analyze sales funnel metrics and identify conversion bottlenecks
- Implement coaching, scripting improvements, and process optimizations
- Increase revenue per rep and overall team productivity
Build and Scale the Sales Team
- Hire, onboard, and develop outbound sales representatives
- Support sales managers with training, enablement, and performance management
- Establish clear expectations around daily activity and results
Operational Sales Leadership
- Monitor dashboards and pipeline metrics daily
- Align marketing, lead flow, and sales processes to maximize conversion
- Ensure consistent execution of the sales process
Ideal Background
You are a strong fit if you have experience leading high-activity outbound sales teams, particularly in industries such as:
- Call center sales environments
- Digital marketing sales
- Local advertising / media sales
- SaaS or subscription services sold via outbound
- SMB-focused B2B sales teams
Minimum Experience
- 5+ years leading outbound sales teams
- Experience managing managers and sales reps
- Proven success in high-volume call-driven environments
- Strong understanding of sales funnel metrics and conversion optimization
- Experience selling B2B solutions to SMB clients
