Overview
The Google Ads Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing search campaigns on the Google Ads platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Google Ads, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team of specialists. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive Google Ads strategies to achieve business goals and maximize ROI.
- Manage and optimize search and display campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Lead a team of keyword and campaign strategists, as well as landing page optimization specialists, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the PPC Department Manager and other platform-specific leads to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, Google Ads features, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage the Google Ads budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on Google Ads management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale Google Ads campaigns across search and display.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant marketing tools.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
